MCi offers this with a mechanical cleaning solution where one-directional wiping removes a wide variety of solid and liquid contaminants and improves aesthetics through internal contamination guiding.
Lidar protect and clean
A significant reduction in cleaning fluid usage compared to conventional nozzle based cleaning systems is achieved with the MCi mechanical cleaning unit. Carrying less cleaning fluid will contribute to the OEM sustainability goals. The addition of a protection cover assures that no fluid is wasted at highway driving speeds. Fluid contaminants like rain are easily removed without the use of any cleaning fluid. Our actuators are adjustable for double curve lenses and for size.
Camera Protect and clean
A camera protect and clean module with a small envelope, capable to fit in a trunk lid. Protection reduces the need for cleaning and prolongs the camera's service life by blocking UV radiation. A sophisticated fluid turbulence cleaning strategy allows for efficient cleaning and guiding of the contaminants.
